“Brain mush” posts are relatively* incomplete thoughts; posting about something often forces me to make sense out of vague feelings and figure out what I think. In terms of the whole “open-source mind” thing, these posts are probably the most illuminating.
* “relatively” in that this entire blog has become a way for me to work out various thoughts about sundry topics
