Every Story Is A Love Story

Andy Figueroa plays Alex, the ghost of a trans teenager, in Audrey Kuo’s short play “Every Story Is A Love Story,” the opening play for the Trans [Plays] of Remembrance Festival, archived on HowlRound.

Logline: After Alex breaks an important promise to Jess, the two trans high school students and best friends navigate grief, broken trust, and the joys of queer friendship.

One Hundred Loaves

In 2020, I baked 100 loaves of bread with the support of my sourdough starter, Fezzik, to nourish friends and community, redistribute resources, and raise funds for mutual aid projects.

DIVINATION

The Sacred Chaos

Tarot-style readings offered with non-traditional decks, including household objects, alphabet flash cards, and natural artifacts. The first series of Sacred Chaos readings raised scholarship funds for the Cecilia Weston Spiritual Academy.

PLAY

Story Time

An interactive, play-based digital story time for young people ages 2 to 8 to collaboratively create stories, art, and adventures during the early months of shelter-in-place. Hosted by Felix the Frog and Llary the Llama (played my Magan Wiles).
